Sacred France Immersion — Cancellation & Refund Policy
Thank you for trusting us with your place on this pilgrimage. Because your registration reserves a limited seat, secures non-refundable vendor deposits (transport, lodging, site access), and holds space in a small group, our cancellation terms are structured accordingly. Please read this policy in full.
1. Deposit
A deposit of **$1,000** is required to hold your place and is **non-refundable** once paid, except where required by law. This deposit is applied toward your total price.
2. Cancellation Schedule
Refunds are issued according to how far in advance of the retreat start date you cancel, in writing, to a@moga-yoga.com:
More than 40 days before departure: Full refund of all payments made beyond the $1,000 deposit
40 days or fewer before departure: No refund (deposit and all payments made are non-refundable)
3. Payment Plans
If you are on a payment plan, all scheduled payments remain due even if you stop attending calls or communications, unless you formally cancel per Section 2. Cancelling does not cancel future installments retroactively — only future ones not yet charged.
4. Transfers in Lieu of Refund
In place of a refund, you may:
- Transfer your registration to another qualified individual (with our approval, at no charge, provided space and any rooming/logistics requirements can be met), or
- Apply your paid tuition as credit toward a future Moga Yoga retreat, at our discretion.
5. Cancellation by Moga Yoga
If the retreat is cancelled by us (for low enrollment, force majeure, or any other reason), you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, or the option to transfer to a future retreat. We are not responsible for any non-refundable travel costs (flights, visas, etc.) you incur independently.
6. Force Majeure / Circumstances Beyond Our Control
In the event of cancellation or disruption due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — natural disaster, government travel restriction, pandemic, strike, extreme weather, venue closure, or similar — we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer credit, but tuition may not be refundable if costs have already been incurred with vendors on your behalf. We strongly recommend travel insurance (see Section 7).
7. Travel Insurance (Recommended)
We invite all participants to carry comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and evacuation. This is your protection against illness, injury, family emergency, flight disruption, or other unforeseen events that this policy does not cover.
8. Health & Fitness
This is a physically active pilgrimage involving walking, uneven terrain, and full-day itineraries. By registering, you confirm you are medically fit to participate. Refunds are not issued for late-discovered health conditions unless covered by your travel insurance.
9. No-Shows
Failure to arrive, whether due to missed flights, denied boarding, visa issues, or any other reason, is treated as a cancellation with less than 30 days' notice and is non-refundable. We will do everything in our power to help you join the group if a delay occurs.
10. How to Cancel
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to a@moga-yoga.com. The cancellation date is the date the written notice is received, not the date of the triggering event.
